Hi, I’m Ashwini. I’m a Principal UI UX Designer at SAP Labs, India, working at the intersection of design leadership and systems thinking.
With an engineering background and 14+ years across software design and development, I’ve learned to navigate complex products, diverse teams, and varied environments with ease. Over the years, my role has evolved from designing screens to shaping design direction across large product portfolios, mentoring designers across teams, planning UX resources, and driving design consistency through systems and guidelines. I often act as the bridge between product, engineering, and design to bring clarity to complex workflows and turn them into scalable, user centered solutions.
For the past 10+ years, I’ve focused deeply on UX for enterprise platforms across retail, finance, and fleet domains. I’ve led research driven initiatives, contributed to 0>1 product journeys, explored AI led experiences, and helped build design practices that enable teams to deliver better products. I enjoy building design culture, growing designers, and staying hands on with the craft while thinking at a systems and organizational level.
